This talk is for everyone – both beginners and experienced herb users. We are going to dive into who the plants really are. Beyond what we have learned about reading in books and into the mystery of of the plant world.
Herbs 101 will include discussing the various types of western herbalism, its roots, to things like what is the difference between herbal medicine vs Herbal Medicine, and the who, what, when, where, why and how of the plants: i.e. veriditas, relationship, complexity medicine, green tongues, and what is a herbalist …so building from the ground up.
Then we will move into discussing herbal energetics as a way to build our understanding and relationship to the plants where there is a getting to know the herbs vs memorizing the uses of a herb…learning their language and being able to speak with our green tongue.
Then we will head out side for a herb walk and go meet the plants with new eyes and a new tongue. 🙂
We hope you can join us and Christine for an afternoon of herbal education, discussion and exploration!
