ANCIENT TREE GOLDEN BUD - GUSHU DIANHONG
Gushu Dianhong – Ancient Tree Yunnan Black Tea
Gushu Dianhong (古树滇红) is a premium black tea made from the leaves of ancient tea trees (gushu) growing in the misty mountains of Yunnan Province, China—the birthplace of tea. “Dianhong” (滇红) refers to “Yunnan red,” a style of Chinese black tea known for its golden buds, malty sweetness, and smooth, full-bodied flavor.
What sets Gushu Dianhong apart is its origin: leaves are plucked from wild or semi-wild tea trees that are often hundreds of years old. These trees grow deep in the forests, absorbing rich nutrients from untouched soil and developing deep, complex root systems. The result is a black tea with extraordinary depth, vibrancy, and energetic qi—a signature of old-tree tea.
