DARJEELING FIRST FLUSH BLACK TEA-GIDDAPAHAR
Darjeeling First Flush Black Tea – Giddapahar Estate
Fresh, floral, and elegantly brisk, Darjeeling First Flush from the Giddapahar Tea Estate captures the essence of early spring in the Himalayan foothills. Harvested during the first flush (March–April)—when tea bushes awaken after winter dormancy—this tea is known for its bright character, delicate astringency, and signature muscatel aroma.
Giddapahar is a small, family-run estate nestled at high elevation in the Kurseong Valley of Darjeeling, India. Their first flush teas are crafted with precision, using tender buds and young leaves to produce a tea that is light in body but rich in nuance, often resembling a cross between a floral green tea and a classic black.
